I was shocked when I returned home yesterday and found your note and package by my back door. To say that it has been a challenging time since my husband unexpectedly passed away would be an understatement. It's been a really hard week too anticipating our first Father's Day without him and his birthday. This surprise brought hope and tears to my eyes. My family has benefited from so much kindness and generosity since John passed away. I am so grateful for the amazing family and friends in our life who help us to carry on even on the days when I want to crawl into my bed and not come out.
