No words can ever truly express the love and gratitude that I and my whole family is feeling. The last five months has been a tough health year for our family, starting with me undergoing surgery for a brain aneurysm and now doing chemo for breast cancer. I was greeted today by a woman who handed me a care package and said that people are praying for me. At that point I was overcome with tears of gratitude and disbelief that someone I don’t know would do something like this. The care package was so tailored specially for our family and what we were going through and our favorite places to go, it truly was a gift from god. The thought of others caring so deeply for others they don’t even know, gives me such hope for myself, my family, as well as for society. I am crying tears of love as I write this and you are clearly not 12 ordinary women, but 12 extraordinary women. I truly believe that god gives you what you can handle and this is something that will help us get through these tough times as well as give me the strength to get through my (hopefully) last brain surgery next week. Thank you and I can’t wait to find a way to pay this forward. Love, Cristina and Tony
