7/28 An unknown woman delivered an enveloped, addressed to me...

An unknown woman delivered an enveloped, addressed to me, to me my daughter at the front door. I had never heard of your organization. I don't know anyone who is involved with a "12 Ordinary Women" group, although, I have many friends who could possibly be involved because there are wonderful God-loving women all around me. I was stunned and puzzled by the gift. Yes, I have my own "Gethsemane's" that have been difficult this year, but it has been a year full of family and love. Why was I chosen? I read the thank-yous on the website, the purpose of the group, and felt so humbled that 12 women are praying for me and entrusted this sacred money to me. The week after the envelope was delivered, my husband got quite ill. In the dark of the night, when waiting for the ambulance to arrive, I thought of the note that was included in the envelope. "...there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think." With these words, and the comfort of my prayers to my Heavenly Father, I was strengthened. I know my Heavenly Father knows who I am and can bless my life. But the hope that women I do not know, know who I am, and are praying for me, that they see me and value me as well, has touched me deeply. This is not about the money. The money is a generous gift, which I was able to bless a friend's life when she learned of her mother's sudden passing and needed to travel far for her funeral. For me, knowing that women of faith, women of hope, are utilizing their own strength and resources for good, has urged me to be a more generous person: in my prayers, in my compassion, in my faith, in my hope, and in my resources. Thank you for this most needed experience. Nanette
