I want to thank your group so much for the money gift you gave my family on 8/12/14. I do not remember the lady's name that came to my door Tuesday night, because I was so overwhelmed; but I definitely remember how special she made me feel. Your group really blessed my family.
I was so touched that someone that I did not know, took the time to hand deliver such a thoughtful gift to my family. It has been hard for me, over the last few months, to pick up the pieces and move on since my husband's death.
I try to be strong for my children, but so many times I feel like there is no one to be strong for me. I have feelings of helplessness and worthlessness, at times, because the "other half" that I shared life with for 32 years, is no longer here to help me sort out important details.
