10/18 I did nothing to deserve such kindness

I am so grateful for this gift. As I shared with the “angels” I have a really hard time accepting the Lords love without feeling like I owe Him something. I also just don’t feel like it makes sense. Today y’all reminded me that there is NOTHING I can do to deserve the Lords love. I did NOTHING to deserve yalls kindness, but thank you. Thank you for allowing me to receive a gift I didn’t deserve. I will remember this day and this underserved kindness forever! Emily

10/8 Beautiful mums

I want to thank these 12 wonderful ladies that sent beautiful mums and gift bag. I can't tell you how surprised I was. It was so thoughtful of these ladies when going through one of the hardest time of my life. Losing my son while caring for my husband then my brother having open heart surgery. I don't know how I would have gotten through my loss without my brother. He and my son were close growing up. Thank you for all your prayers and support. May God Bless you and your families.

10/8 A letter with an extremely generous gift

On Friday I received a letter with some extremely generous gifts from your organization. I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart. When I opened the letter I cried and felt so blessed that people who have no idea who I am would help me in such a way. As a new single mom, your generosity touched me beyond words. I hope God blesses you for the work that you do, you are bringing hope to people who need it and letting them know God is hearing their prayers.

10/5 Thanking local angels

What a nice surprise to have a care package delivered today! Upon opening and reading a bagful of inspiring, thoughtful, and yet curious cards, I had to know more about these "12 Ordinary Women." Unfortunately, after searching this site I am no closer to discovering the identities of these local angels. I am touched by their gratitude and willingness to give for the sake of giving. Your gift couldn't have come at a better time, as I just returned from Mayo with discouraging news. God truly works in mysterious ways and gave me my hope back with the arrival of 12 Ordinary Women. Thank you!

10/4 I too do not know who to thank!

Thank you! I, too, do not know who this thank you should be personally directed to; however, that doesn’t seem to be the point. Thank you for your ministry in holding up those around you with the love and hope of Jesus. Thank you for the book and gift cards that have lifted myself and my family up in such a generous way. Thank you also for your prayers for my family during the most difficult year we have ever had to go through. May the Lord bless you. much love! Sarah

10/1 Suncreek Thank you

About 6 weeks ago I received 3 very generous gift cards with anonymous note from 12 Ordinary Women.   I posted a note of thanks on FB and spread the word at my church regarding how I wanted these anonymous women to be aware of how very much I appreciated their great and kind generosity. However, I wasn’t sure if these specific women saw that thank you  note on FB. Someone at my church (Suncreek UMC) suggested I write to this website. Is there a way I can be certain the folks involved in “my” 12 Ordinary Women group stay anonymous but know how very humbled and thankful I am by their kindness?

Thank you,
Sandra

9/30 Thank you to 12 extraordinary women

Thank you to 12 extraordinary women. I walked out the front door, to drive an hour to an appointment, and saw a beautiful orchid waiting just for me!! It encouraged me and gave me hope! I so needed to hear that others were praying for me. Life is challenging but I am thankful for friends, whom I may not know, who are praying me through the upcoming days. My husband has heart surgery in a couple of weeks and it is no small task to pray through the upcoming days and events. I know God is walking with me but I need the hands and feet of Jesus to encourage me and give me hope. Thank you is an understatement. I love these women! Beth

9/28 Thank you for your kindness

My daughter had brain surgery for the 3rd time last week. Each time has brought challenges, and this time was no exception. She asked a lot of questions about why God kept allowing this to happen to her. Those are tough questions for a parent to hear, and they are tough to answer when your child is a savvy preteen. We are so grateful to have received the gift basket tonight, filled with so many thoughtful treasures. The generosity and scripture reframed God's place in her struggles.

We will use every gift card with gratitude. We will enjoy all the little treasures and treats and think of this wonderful gesture of kindness- one that was anonymous and the greatest example of Godly giving and love. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
